Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 13th 2026

Arabia Mountain Vineyard (“we,” “us,” “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use arabiamountainvineyard.com (the “Site”), make a reservation or purchase, sign up for our newsletter, or contact us; how we use it; who we share it with; and the choices you have. It applies to the Site and to the bookings and purchases you make through it. It does not cover other websites we link to.

1. Information you give us

We collect information you type into the Site. Depending on what you do, that can include:

  • Reservations, tickets and purchases: your name, email address, phone number, billing address, the experience or event you booked, the date, the number and names of guests in your party, and the amount paid. Your card number goes directly to our payment processor, Stripe, and is never stored by us.
  • Gift cards: your name and email, and the recipient’s name, email and any message you write, so the card can be delivered.
  • Memberships: the details above, plus your membership level and term.
  • Appointment bookings: your name, email, phone and the time you chose.
  • Forms: whatever you enter in our contact, quote request, vendor, volunteer, partnership and job application forms, including any files you attach.
  • Newsletter: your email address and, if you give it, your name.
  • Account: if you create an account, your login details and your order history.
  • Correspondence: anything you send us by email, phone or social media.

2. Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our systems record technical details in the ordinary way websites do: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the links you click, how long you stay, and the site that referred you. We collect this through:

  • Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics, through a Google tag on every page, to understand how visitors use the Site. Google sets cookies to recognize returning visitors and reports aggregate statistics to us. Google may also use this data as described in its own privacy policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
  • Cookies set by the Site itself. Our shopping cart uses cookies to remember what is in your cart and to keep you logged in to your account. These are essential to placing an order and expire when your session ends or shortly after.
  • Server logs kept by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.

We do not currently show a cookie consent banner. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; if you block the cart cookies, you will not be able to complete a purchase. [CONFIRM: if the vineyard wants a consent banner, one should be added and this paragraph updated.]

3. How we use your information

We use the information above to:

  • Take, confirm and manage your reservations, tickets, memberships and gift cards, and to know who to expect on the day.
  • Process your payment and send you receipts and booking confirmations.
  • Reply to your questions, quote requests and applications.
  • Send you our newsletter and news about events, if you have signed up for it.
  • Reschedule or update you if something about your visit changes, including weather.
  • Understand how the Site is used so we can improve it.
  • Keep the Site secure, prevent fraud, and meet our legal and accounting obligations.
  • Verify that guests served alcohol are 21 or older, which we do in person, not through the Site.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with the companies that help us run the Site and the vineyard, and only what each one needs:

  • Stripe, which processes payments. Stripe receives your name, email, billing address and card details and handles them under its own privacy policy.
  • Our website hosting provider, which stores the Site and its database, including the records above.
  • Google, which provides Google Analytics as described in section 2.
  • Email delivery services that send our confirmations and newsletters on our behalf.
  • Event partners. For some events we work with partners such as sponsors, wellness practitioners and vendors. We do not give them your details unless the event description says so, or you enter a raffle or sign up for something they offer at the event. [CONFIRM: whether attendee lists are ever shared with event partners.]
  • Professional advisers and authorities when the law requires it, to enforce our terms, or to protect the safety of our guests, staff or property.

If Arabia Mountain Vineyard is ever sold or merged, your information would pass to the new owner under this same policy.

5. Email marketing

We send our newsletter only to people who have signed up for it. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and you can also unsubscribe by emailing us. Booking confirmations, receipts and messages about a visit you have booked are not marketing and will still be sent if you unsubscribe from the newsletter.

6. How long we keep it

We keep booking and purchase records for as long as we need them to run the business and meet tax and accounting rules, which is generally seven years. Form submissions and correspondence are kept for as long as needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable time afterwards. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Google Analytics data is kept for the period set in our Google Analytics account. [CONFIRM: the current retention setting, typically 2 or 14 months.]

7. How we protect it

The Site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Payment details go straight to Stripe and never touch our servers. Access to the Site’s administration and its records is limited to people who need it to run the vineyard. No website can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us.

8. Your choices and rights

You can, at any time:

  • Ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask for a copy.
  • Ask us to correct information that is wrong or out of date.
  • Ask us to delete your information. We will do so unless we need to keep it for a booking that has not happened yet, for a legal or accounting reason, or to resolve a dispute.
  • Unsubscribe from the newsletter.
  • Opt out of Google Analytics using the browser add-on in section 2, or block cookies in your browser.

To make any of these requests, email arabiamountainvineyard@gmail.com from the address we have on file, or include enough detail for us to find your records. We will reply within 30 days. If you live somewhere that gives you additional privacy rights, such as California or the European Union, we will honor those rights on request.

9. Children

The Site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. Purchases and reservations must be made by someone 18 or older. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

10. Links to other sites

The Site links to other websites, including our social media pages and our event partners. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make a change that significantly affects how we use your information, we will tell newsletter subscribers by email and post a notice on the Site.
